Tapan Mody

Tapan Mody is a passionate individual with a professional background as a creative director, copywriter, and chief pain-in-the-arse at Yes Yes, Why Not? - a communication and brand design consultancy which serves as a finishing school for creative professionals.

With a wealth of experience in the advertising industry, Tapan has worked at renowned agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi, and BBDO, holding roles such as copywriter and creative controller.

Transitioning into education, Tapan has shared his expertise through lectures, workshops, and a program called NuSchool, focusing on unschooling principles, at institutions like KC College of Management Studies, Xavier's Institute of Communication, and Sophia College, earning the title of 'Industry Mentor' at design schools such as Srishti Institute of Art, Design & Technology and MIT Institute of Design.

In addition to his work in communication and education, Tapan has a keen interest in the arts, having completed a post-graduate diploma in modern & contemporary Indian art & curatorial studies. He now serves as a curator at ARTXCHANGE by Yes Yes, Why Not?, showcasing young Indian artists both in India and on international platforms like Deutsche Bahn and Affordable Art Fair.

Looking ahead, Tapan aims to leverage his writing and communication skills to support artists, foster connections between artists and audiences, and pursue his passion for art as an aspiring artist. His diverse skill set also encompasses being a professional cat lover and a talking doodler.
