Tanya Romanyukha
Boosting Cyprus’ tech ecosystem, empowering women and their professional development
Tanya Romanyukha is the General Manager of TechIsland, the largest tech association in Cyprus. She was appointed to this position in April 2024, succeeding Marios Giorgoudis. Romanyukha has been a key figure at TechIsland since its inception and previously served as the head of operations, where she led various strategic and operational initiatives.14
Background and Experience
Romanyukha brings over 12 years of experience in operations management, business development, and venture capital. Her career spans multiple regions, including Ukraine, the USA, Europe, and the Middle East. She has contributed to startup accelerators, investment groups, and non-profits.13 Additionally, she is actively involved in supporting the Ukrainian community in Cyprus through the initiative Cy4Ua and directs the Women In Tech Cyprus Chapter, focusing on empowering women in the technology sector.12
Achievements
In recognition of her contributions to the tech landscape, Romanyukha received the Forbes Women in Tech Cyprus Award in late 2023 and the CYDIA Award for Startups & Innovation in 2024.14
