Tanya Paz

Tanya Paz, an expert in community planning, has been working in sustainable transportation since 1999 and is known for her extensive experience in shared mobility.

Currently, she serves as an HR Consultant to the Car Free Vancouver Society, focusing on developing policies, procedures, and health and safety protocols.

In her previous role as a Transportation Anchor at Everybody Is In, Paz facilitated the distribution of essential items to unhoused residents in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.

She has a diverse background in carsharing, ridesharing, bus sharing, and bikesharing, having worked for various organizations worldwide, advising on planning, marketing, governance, and operations.

Paz's consulting services extend to global best practices in carsharing developments, including advising on electric vehicles and recommending updates to bylaws for multi-unit dwellings.

With a strong record of community involvement, Paz has influenced transportation by-laws and served on the City of Vancouver's Active Transportation Policy Council from 2012-2018.
