Tanya Crossman is a highly experienced cross-cultural consultant with a focus on international schools and multinational organizations. With a background spanning 15 years in the field of Third Culture Kids (TCKs) and expatriate families, she is dedicated to supporting TCKs and the adults involved in their care, including parents, educators, and organizations.
As an accomplished author, Tanya penned 'Misunderstood: The Impact of Growing Up Overseas in the 21st Century' in 2016. This insightful book showcases interviews with nearly 300 TCKs and a survey of 750 TCKs, offering a profound look into their unique experiences and challenges.
Tanya Crossman holds a Bachelor's degree in Asian Studies Specialist (Chinese) from The Australian National University, a diploma from Beijing Language and Culture University, and a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from the Australian College of Theology.
Throughout her career, Tanya has held various key roles such as Lead Researcher at TCK Training, Logistics Director at Families in Global Transition, and Intercultural Trainer and Consultant specializing in TCKs. Her diverse professional journey includes stints as an author, co-founder of the EPIC youth conference, and office manager at Imports Oriental, among others.
