Tangie Murray is an accomplished marketing, communications, and nonprofit leader with a strong background in driving high-profile strategy, advocacy, and messaging campaigns focused on positive social impact and promoting diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging.
Throughout her career, Tangie has excelled in establishing strategic program goals, translating objectives into actionable plans, and leading purpose-driven communication initiatives. Starting her career in Account Management at Grey New York, Tangie later transitioned to the nonprofit and social impact sectors, particularly in the arts, education, and entertainment realms. Notably, as the Executive Director of Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, she successfully raised over $30 million in support of the foundation's mission.
Tangie holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA and has completed a Business Leadership program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She currently serves as a Strategic Advisor to the Black Artists + Designers Guild and is actively involved in initiatives such as the ABT RISE (DEI) Advisory Council.
