Tan Wilkinson

Tan Wilkinson is an ambitious Engineering Graduate currently employed as the Engineering Plant Support Team Leader at Cummins Inc.

Tan holds a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Year in Industry from the University of Derby and is pursuing a Masters in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering with Management at Loughborough University.

With a keen interest in pushing boundaries and accepting challenges, Tan aspires to become a Chartered Engineer and advance in a high-responsibility role within the Engineering industry.

Tan has gained practical experience through various roles including Test Operations Supervisor, Lab Operations Engineer at Cummins Inc, and Aerospace Project work experience at Rolls-Royce.

Additionally, Tan has a background serving as a Residential Assistant at the University of Derby, Student Ambassador, and engaging in Design Engineering projects.

Further experiences include roles as a Camp Leader, Lifeguard at Camp Merlins, and work experiences in Food Processing/Manufacturing Engineering at Aryzta Maidstone Bakeries, among others.

Tan has also pursued educational opportunities such as an Exscitec course in Robotics at Imperial College London, showcasing a diverse skill set and interests in the field of Engineering.
