Tammy Yard-McCracken is an experienced professional in the field of violence dynamics, conflict management, and personal safety, serving as the owner & global solutions director at Personal Defense Industries, LLC.

With a background in Counseling and Holistic Psychology, Tammy is a Court established expert in Violence Dynamics, actively involved in presenting on human factors coaching and conflict management.

As the program director of PDI's training center in northern Virginia, Kore Self-Defense & Krav Maga, she has made significant contributions to the industry as one of the founding directors of Chiron Training and a member of the international teaching team of Violence Dynamics.

Tammy Yard-McCracken has a strong publication record, having authored numerous articles on topics like violence, personal safety, and socio-psychological factors that influence conflict and self-defense. She is also involved in serving as an adjunct consultant to the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund.

An accomplished professional, Tammy holds certifications as a Conflict Communication trainer, Krav Maga instructor, and has participated in speaking engagements internationally, including notable events like the Airline Pilot's Association Safety & Security Forum, Women in Federal Law Enforcement conference, and more.

Her educational background includes a Master's in Professional Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, a Doctorate in Holistic Psychology from the Eisner Institute for Professional Studies, and a Bachelor's in Education from Illinois State University.

Throughout her career, Tammy has been associated with various organizations, including Kore Self-Defense & Krav Maga, Chiron Training, and The Well Mind & Dominion Center for Behavioral Health, where she held roles such as owner, director, instructor, and psychotherapist.
