Tammy Teixeira is the Senior Vice President of Business Development at HEMIC, the largest provider of workers' compensation insurance in Hawaii.23 She joined HEMIC in March 2013, bringing with her over 27 years of experience in Workers' Compensation and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.14 In her role, she is responsible for Corporate Marketing & Communications, Sales & Agency Relations, Subsidiary Operations, Claims and Medical Management Services, and Customer Service. She also oversees the development of new markets, customers, and products to achieve top-line revenue goals.1
Before joining HEMIC, Tammy worked as a Business Development Manager for SeaBright Insurance Company.1 She has also served as Board Chair for the Hawai’i Insurers Council and is a Founding Officer for Kids’ Chance of Hawai’i, where she currently serves as Treasurer.3 Tammy studied at Hawaii Pacific University and has dedicated her career to the Hawaii insurance market.15
