Tammy Taylor is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in science and engineering disciplines. She has applied her expertise in science and technology to identify and characterize both emerging and persistent nuclear nonproliferation threats. Taylor led the Radiological Community Preparedness Resources (RadCPR) Project, aimed at Emergency Responder preparedness for effective response to radiological incidents. She also headed the development and coordination of Planning Guidance for Response to a Nuclear Detonation, outlining safety protocols during nuclear detonation. With a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University, Taylor is highly qualified to lead teams of professionals in the fields of environmental remediation, community preparedness, consequence management, and recovery training, with specific expertise in radiological dispersal device and nuclear detonation threats.
