Tamira La Cruz is a seasoned business strategist with over 20 years of experience in aiding firms and Caribbean SIDS in enhancing their revenue, profitability, and economies through a focus on research, strategy, competitiveness, and innovation. She has a strong emphasis on integrating sustainability, SDGs, ESG strategies, Climate Action, and Human Capital Development into her proposed strategies.

Her expertise extends to serving as a senior advisor and team leader in technical assistance for regional Private Sector Development initiatives, business regulations, SIDS economies, exports, EPA, access to finance, tourism competitiveness, sustainable and development financing, evaluation & monitoring, and governance of state-owned or state-funded entities. She has hands-on experience in various territories including CARIFORUM, Suriname, Belize, Barbados, St. Lucia, Grenada, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Dutch Caribbean, and British Overseas territories.

Tamira has a broad background working across the Caribbean and Latin America with SMEs, local and international companies, investors, government policies and agencies, as well as multilateral organizations. She is based in Curaçao and holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a BSBA from Boston University, and is a citizen of both Dutch and St. Kitts & Nevis.

She is proficient in English, Spanish, Dutch, French, and Portuguese, showcasing her multilingual capabilities. Tamira is known for being responsive, reliable, analytical, and practical in her approach. Beyond her professional endeavors, she actively engages in various community initiatives related to business, education, agriculture, sustainability, climate change, Rotary, women's inclusion, and global youth exchanges.
