Tamara Soyka

Tamara Soyka is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. She holds a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Sciences, a Didactic Degree in Biology, and a Master's degree in Management Technology and Economics from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich. Tamara currently serves as the Head Cat Perils EMEA Director at Swiss Re, where she leads strategic initiatives related to catastrophe perils in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions. Prior to her current role, she held various positions at Swiss Re, including Head of SwiftRe EMEA, Senior Market Representative SwiftRe-Reinsurance, Deputy Head of CRO Office, and Natural Hazard Specialist. Tamara also has a research background, having worked as a Post-graduate Research Scientist at ETH Zurich.
