Tamal Chakravorty is a seasoned CIO with over 25 years of experience spanning across diverse industries. He has a strong track record of leveraging technology to achieve and surpass business objectives, managing budgets, IT roadmaps, and leading restructuring and change management projects.

Tamal specializes in optimizing IT infrastructure, networking, and InfoSec for multi-site operations, focusing on performance, scalability, and stability while minimizing risks and OPEX. He is experienced in areas such as IT outsourcing, strategic initiatives, and shared services units.

His professional achievements include enhancing operational stability from 89% to 96% in his current role and leading the rollout of SAP ERP at Ericsson across 70 units globally. At PepsiCo India, he successfully executed a critical network transition program for 21 locations within tight deadlines and without downtime.

Tamal Chakravorty is known for his expertise in team development, establishing strategic partnerships, and fostering client and business relationships. He is a member of the SAP users' forum in Delhi and a founder member of CIOs of India (under ISMF) in Delhi/NCR.

In terms of education, Tamal holds a BCom (H) degree in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, a PG in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, leadership program certification from the Indian School of Business, and a PGDBM in Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
