Tal Behar is the Co-founder and President of PMWC LLC, which organizes the Precision Medicine World Conference (PMWC). He co-founded the conference in 2009 in partnership with Stanford Health Care, aiming to create a platform for key stakeholders in precision medicine, including business, government, healthcare, and research sectors, to collaborate and drive advancements in personalized medicine.
Under Behar's leadership, PMWC has grown significantly, attracting over 2,500 attendees, 800 companies, and 420 speakers at its events. The conference has expanded internationally, with editions in Israel and the United Kingdom, and has introduced additional U.S. events at prestigious institutions like Duke University and the University of Michigan. Behar is also responsible for establishing the PMWC Pioneer and Luminary Awards, which honor significant contributions to the field of precision medicine.12
In addition to his role at PMWC, Tal Behar is a Co-founder of Silicon Ventures, a private investor forum that supports early-stage high-tech companies.
