With a background in Industrial Engineering and Management, Taíno has been actively promoting a change for six years, with a pivotal moment in 2019 sparking a mission to address smartphone addiction. As the Founder and Workshop Facilitator of Phone Smart, Taíno organizes initiatives like Phone Free Day to encourage reclaiming control over smartphone use. Taíno's educational journey includes studying in New Zealand, Sweden, and Zimbabwe, culminating in a Master of Science degree from Lund University. With a diverse organizational history in roles ranging from Sales and Management to Consulting and Teaching, Taíno brings a wealth of experience to the mission of combating smartphone addiction.
