His academic journey includes a specialization in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from Harvard University Graduate School of Education, coupled with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Politics with First-Class Honors from Queen Mary, University of London.

Tahmid has contributed to various impactful organizations, such as the William Monroe Trotter Collaborative for Social Justice Practicum at Bristol City Council, where he honed his skills in social justice advocacy.

He also served in roles like Equity and Inclusion Practicum at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Fellow in Residence: Programme Manager UK and Europe at Peace First, Community Organiser at Citizens UK, Student Advisor at Kaplan Test Prep, and Chair at Stand Up Stand Out, broadening his experience in community engagement and leadership.
