Sylwia Kolasa

Sylwia Kolasa is a multidisciplinary researcher and audiologist with a focus on the connection between hearing loss and balance, particularly in individuals with hearing aids and cochlear implants.

She holds multiple degrees in audiology, physical therapy, speech-language therapy, and public health, with a Ph.D. in Otoneurology.

Current research at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences involves studying hearing loss, balance, and mobility in older adults, exploring the impact of hearing aids on balance performance, and testing the feasibility of balance training programs for older adults with hearing loss.
