Sylvio De Moraes

Dr. Sylvio L. C. de Moraes is a highly accomplished Maxillofacial and Craniofacial Surgeon with an extensive educational background and a wealth of experience in the medical field.

He obtained his degrees in Dentistry from Federal Fluminense University and in Medicine from Gama Filho University, further specializing in Maxillofacial and Craniofacial Surgery through various fellowships and residencies.

With a focus on congenital and acquired defects in Maxillofacial, Craniofacial, and Oral Surgery, Dr. de Moraes has made significant contributions to the field through his work at Sao Francisco Hospital and the Emergency Department of HUAP-UFF.

As a distinguished member of several prestigious organizations, including the AO Foundation and the Brazilian College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he has also served in leadership roles such as President of the Brazilian College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr. de Moraes has been involved in various projects and positions within the Brazilian Air Force, focusing on telehealth, DNA banking, and medical divisions.

Currently, he serves as a University Professor at FACULDADES SÃO JOSÉ, continuing to educate and inspire the next generation of medical professionals.
