Sylvia Salazar is a creative and entrepreneurial-minded professional with a strong background in engineering, marketing, product development, and program management.
In early 2017, Sylvia identified a need for more resources for the Latinx community in the US and founded Tono Latino, a platform aimed at informing and educating Latinxs on important news to foster a more engaged community and drive change, such as increasing Latinx voter participation.
Sylvia studied Computer Engineering at the University of Miami, participated in altMBA, and attended Colegio Alberto Einstein.
Throughout her career, Sylvia has held various roles at Intel Corporation, including Software Engineer, Technical Marketing Engineer, Branded Reseller Technical Marketing Engineer, Creative Marketing Specialist, Product Marketing Engineer, Internal Marketing Brand Ambassador, and Account Manager for the New England Territory.
She also worked as a Marketing & Social Media Strategy Consultant at Green Lemon, LLC, was a Founder at Tono Latino, and served as a Mentor at PIE (Portland Incubator Experiment).
