Sylvain Duranton

Sylvain Duranton is the Global Leader of BCG X, BCG’s Tech Build and Design Unit, where he leads a team of AI, tech build, and design experts to tackle strategic challenges and drive digital transformation for top organizations globally. With a background in mathematics and a strong lineage of scientists, Sylvain is also involved in social initiatives, serving as the founder and president of the chess club Palamède Echecs and holding an executive board position at Aurore, a prominent French NGO focusing on poverty alleviation and housing accessibility. Additionally, Sylvain is a supportive straight Ally partner for BCG’s LGBT community in Paris. Sylvain Duranton has an impressive educational background, including a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from INSEAD, a Master of Engineering in Sociology & Economics from Mines Paris - PSL, and a foundation in Mathematics and Computer Science from École Polytechnique. Previously, Sylvain held high-ranking positions within BCG, such as the founder and former Global Leader of BCG GAMMA, overseeing the deployment of AI and analytics solutions worldwide. He is also a former Senior Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group.
