Syed Chowdhury, a skilled computer scientist, has an impressive background in the industry. Chowdhury graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and later obtained a Bachelor's in Philosophy from the City University of New York City College. With experience at JPMorgan & Chase, he has been working as a Software Engineer / Project Executioner. Chowdhury's passion for education drove him to create two distinct organizations: Kentro, an EdTech Startup, and StudentsWhoCode, an after-school program.
Chowdhury worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. for two years, starting as a Summer Technical Analyst before being promoted to Software Engineer II. He previously worked as an IT Specialist at Queens College, further enhancing his technical skills. In addition to his work, Chowdhury co-founded KentroLMS, a startup focused on EdTech. Later, he was recruited as the CTO/Co-founder of Unvolve for CUNY Startups' F17 Cohort. He also worked as a web developer intern at OweYaa, an app developer for Spor, focused on Applied CS With Android at Google, software developer at PaperTag, and a tutor at Syed's Tutorial and The Salvation Army.
