Sweta Chakraborty, PhD, is a globally recognized risk and behavioral scientist with expertise in global risks ranging from climate change to COVID-19. She is the President of US Operations for We Don't Have Time, Founder and Principal at Adapt to Thrive, Partner at Pioneer Public Affairs, and head of Top Tier Impact's Policy Action Unit. With a passion for proactive preparedness to mitigate the impacts of climate change, Sweta is a trusted authority on clear, credible, evidence-based communication.

Sweta's credentials include a postdoctorate from the Centre for Socio Legal Studies at University of Oxford, a PhD in Risk Management from King's College London, a General Course in Operations Research from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BSc in Decision Science from Carnegie Mellon University. She has worked in the private sector as Chief Scientist for a risk management-consulting firm, has taught at Columbia University as an adjunct professor, and is on the Young Professionals Council of EcoHealth Alliance.

Sweta is a TEDx and SXSW speaker and has been interviewed on major, international news media outlets including CNN, the NYT, the BBC, Forbes, Fox News Channel, Sky News, CBS, and MSNBC.
