Sweeta Akbari

Sweeta Akbari is a postdoctoral researcher at Tampere University, Finland, and the founder and CEO of Afghan Women Scholars (AWS).1 She holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University Malaysia Pahang, which she completed between 2017 and 2021.3 Dr. Akbari's research focuses on chemical engineering, particularly in areas such as biosurfactants, emulsions, and plant extraction.25
As the founder of AWS, Dr. Akbari works to support Afghan women in pursuing education and research in safe environments.1 She has also founded the International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies (IJIRSS) to support scholars in their research and publications.1
