Suzanne Daniels

Suzanne Daniels is a passionate individual dedicated to empowering developers and engineers by providing them with the necessary tools and skills to innovate and create software. She is known for organizing events such as Virtual Azure Community Day, contributing.today, hackathons, and hands-on workshops, as well as being a speaker on technical topics like AKS, serverless, and open-source software (OSS) and transformation & innovation. Suzanne is also recognized for her skills as a host/emcee and creative thinker.

With a background as a developer and extensive experience in dev infrastructure and open source, Suzanne has worked across various roles from hands-on technical positions to more strategic roles like CTO office. She excels in helping others understand cloud technology, application innovation, and increasing developer productivity with her no-nonsense approach. Her commitment to promoting Diversity & Inclusion is evident through her lectures on diversity for students and support for diversity in tech initiatives.

Suzanne Daniels has studied at Zoomvliet College and Zeeland College. Her professional journey includes being the Lead Developer Advocate at Spotify, and previously holding roles at Microsoft as a Developer Engagement Lead and Partner Technology Strategist. She has also worked at companies like EBPI BV, COC Rotterdam e.o., Proxy, IBM, Rijkswaterstaat, Tele2, Snow B.V., DeliXL, Research Institute, Netsourcing, KPN, Connexus Holland BV, ZeelandNet BV, and Vlicomp B.V., spanning positions from Process Strategy Manager to Software Engineer.
