Suumit Shah

Suumit Shah is a serial entrepreneur and product designer, best known as the founder of Dukaan®, an e-commerce platform launched in June 2020. Dukaan enables merchants, even those without programming skills, to easily set up their online stores. Shah co-founded the company alongside Subhash Choudhary, who serves as the CTO.2

Prior to establishing Dukaan, Shah founded two other ventures: Risemetric in 2014 and Rankz.io in 2018. He has also held positions as a Digital Marketing Manager at TinyOwl and Housing.com, and has worked with notable companies like McDonald's and Cred. Shah holds an engineering degree and has pursued extensive online learning to enhance his skills.12

Recently, Shah has been in the spotlight for controversial decisions at Dukaan, including laying off 90% of the customer support staff in favor of an AI chatbot, which he claimed significantly improved efficiency and reduced costs.23
