Susie Rowan is the former Executive Director of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), a global, interdenominational, in-depth Bible study ministry.12 During her tenure, she led BSF's growth to serve more than 385,000 adults and 66,000 children worldwide through local and online BSF groups and WordGo Bible study groups.1
As a leader, visionary, and change agent, Susie Rowan adapted the ministry to a rapidly changing digital world.14 She advanced BSF's mission by introducing new pathways to Bible study and expanding BSF's content to include four new studies: Isaiah, Revelation, and People of the Promised Land I and II.1
Under her leadership, BSF successfully transitioned 400,000 adults and children to online environments within two weeks during the COVID-19 pandemic.1 Susie Rowan is passionate about encouraging women to take up leadership roles in churches, parachurch ministries, and other areas where God calls them to lead.3
Susie Rowan has been married to her husband Roger for over 45 years, and they have two children and four grandchildren.1 Her personal faith journey includes giving her life to Christ during a Sunday morning sermon, which has led her to emphasize the importance of daily Bible study and prayer in growing one's relationship with God.1
