Susanne Pusarnig

Susanne Pusarnig is a medical doctor specializing in general medicine, commonly known as the 'Zuckertante.' She has been providing support to individuals with diabetes since 1985.

She operates a private practice catering specifically to diabetic patients in Vienna's Hietzing district and holds a prominent position as the lead physician at SMIR (Sozial-Medizinische Initiative Rodaun).

In addition to her clinical work, Susanne conducts training courses for fellow physicians on topics like diabetes mellitus and insulin therapy. She also offers educational sessions for nursing staff in hospitals, nursing homes, and home care settings.
