Susanna Quinn

Susanna Quinn is an accomplished entrepreneur known for founding Veluxe, an on-demand beauty and wellness service that catered to busy professionals in major cities like Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Chicago. She launched Veluxe in 2014 after identifying a gap in the market for lifestyle services, similar to how apps facilitated immediate access to transportation and accommodation. The app allowed users to book vetted personal trainers, yoga instructors, and other wellness services directly to their homes.12

In 2018, Quinn sold Veluxe to Glamsquad, a national beauty service company. Following the acquisition, she transitioned into a senior advisory role at Glamsquad, where she leveraged her extensive network to enhance the company's offerings and outreach.12 Her work has been recognized for its focus on building community and personalized service, particularly among influential women in Washington, D.C..1

Beyond her entrepreneurial pursuits, Susanna Quinn is also a cancer survivor. In March 2019, she was diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer but underwent successful treatment and was declared cancer-free later that year. Her experience has inspired her to engage in advocacy work and public speaking about cancer awareness.45 She currently hosts "The Cancer SIGNAL" podcast, where she discusses early cancer detection and shares insights from her journey.34

Quinn's background includes significant roles in the U.S. Congress as a research assistant and legislative aide before venturing into entrepreneurship. She is married to Jack Quinn, a prominent attorney who served as White House Counsel during the Clinton administration.25
