Susana Mejia

Susana Mejia is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in public health, health policy, oncology, and research.

She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy + Management from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Comparative Politics from University of California, Los Angeles.

Currently, Susana serves as the Global Director of Oncology Policy + Health Systems at Novartis Oncology, leading initiatives in the oncology sector.

Her rich work experience includes roles such as Global Lead in Value and Access Strategy and Operations, and Global Value and Access Fellow in Health Economics Outcomes Research Excellence at Novartis Oncology.

Prior to her current position, she was actively involved as a One Young World Ambassador and Delegate, representing youth voices at a global platform.

Susana has also contributed to various organizations and projects in different capacities such as a Research Assistant at Columbia University, a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Public Health Law, and a Freelance Business Analyst at McCann Health.

Her passion for healthcare and research is evident through her past roles including Market Access Intern at DHelix Group, Pediatric Cancer Research Grants Administrator at Pablove Foundation Inc., and Operations Coordinator at the same organization.
