Susan Prado is the Grants Director at Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center, where she has served since July 2017.1 She is a multifaceted professional with experience in grant writing, interior design, and visual arts. Prado is also a founding member of the Women of Monthaven volunteer auxiliary board.1
As Grants Director, Prado manages the center's grant-related activities. She has contributed to Monthaven's long-range strategic vision, offering in-kind design consultation and architectural design services for future campus expansion plans.1
Beyond her role at Monthaven, Prado is a visual artist, writer, community arts facilitator, and public art project design coordinator. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from MTSU, which she received in 2001.1 Prado has experience in residential design, fine art resources consultation, selection, and installation.2
In 2005, Susan Prado established Prado Studio with her husband Jairo Prado, where she balances her work between interior design, architecture, urban planning, and fine art.1 Her expertise spans grant writing, managing public art projects, and overseeing architectural installations.1
