Project Manager NECOM/CMDB

Under contract to AT&T Mobility's IL/WI market working on Cost of Service projects.  Providing project management of cost of service/cost savings initiative with $13M savings during the 18 month period ending Dec. 2009.  Moved the market from one of the highest transport cost of service to one of the lowest.  Groomed/rolled 4000+ T1 circuits.

Additional project oversight involves operational cost savings of optical ring migration from high cost leased services to lower cost dark fiber utilization and overall project reporting for transport growth in the market. Targeted 170+ DS3s and 3 OC12s for grooms.

Project management of upgrade for eight OC48s to OC192s including scheduling and selecting E911 Test Calls (Phase 2 and Phase 1 fail over where required) with TCS and Intrado Location Services (PSAPs).  Groomed/rolled 160+ DS3s and 6 OC3s.

Project Management of Mobility's IL/WI market transport optimization and migration efforts - consultant via TEKsystems.

Leading a series of PMP exam study groups after work hours with a total of attendees exceeding 100 people.

Project management consulting via Cognizant in the IT organization on high complexity projects.

Technical project management consulting in AT&T's IT organization on high complexity projects of IT initiatives involving order management systems for 4-play convergence product (U-verse) throughout SDLC process.

Initial effort to transition project management from Burlingame, CA, to Kansas City, MO.  Staff in CA numbered six during peak effort.  No personnel relocated to KC, MO.

Project required engineering solution to loss of connectivity and purchase of Timplex QAM cards and Sitnet circuits to complete.
