Susan McBeth is a highly experienced entrepreneur, event manager, and literary connoisseur. With over 20 years in the industry, Susan has crafted a career as the Founder and Owner at Adventures by the Book, a company she launched in 2011 to bring readers and authors closer together. She believes that traditional book signings are missing something and that personal, interactive literary events create unique experiences for book lovers. Adventures by the Book has since become a home base for passionate readers, published authors, aspiring writers, and others who enjoy engaging cultural events and the written word. Before Adventures by the Book, Susan was the Director of Marketing and Events at Warwick's Bookstore, one of the oldest independent bookstores in the United States. During her time there, Susan honed her skills and developed extensive experience working alongside publishers, publicists, agents, authors, and readers.

Susan's entrepreneurial spirit has led her to create other successful start-ups such as NovelNetwork, the nation's first match(dot)com aimed at connecting authors with book clubs. Novel Network allows book clubs to gain access to dozens of authors who are interested and available to chat with book clubs, either in person or via video chat.

Susan's educational background includes a BS in Business Administration with a minor in German and an MA in Comparative Literature, both from San Diego State University.
