Susan Kent

Susan Kent is a well-known name in Key West and Lower Florida Keys, especially in the civic and business community. She has been actively involved with various organizations and has served on multiple boards. Currently, she holds the position of Program Services Director at Habitat for Humanity of Key West and Lower Florida Keys. Susan has an extensive educational background, having studied English language and literature at Winthrop University.

Her contribution to the upliftment of the LGBTQ+ community has been widely recognized, she was the past president of the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Key West and an active member of Equality Florida and LOVE IS LOVE KEY WEST. Susan's professional experience is diverse, she has worked as an advertising account executive, an administrative manager, an office manager, and a staff member with several companies.

Susan's knowledge and contributions have been acknowledged through many awards, including the Walt Marlowe Award by the Key West Business Guild in 2016 and being named one of the 2017 OUT50 by South Florida Gay News. She continues to work for social causes and is the co-producer of Key West Pride Follies. Her professional and social skills have made her an indispensable member of the community.
