Communication Consultant and Researcher
Susan Chen 陈怡文 is an accomplished professional with a strong academic background in communication. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master's Degree in Rhetoric from Carnegie Mellon University, another Master's Degree in English from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, and a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Southern Indiana.
Susan has garnered diverse experience through various roles in different organizations. She currently serves as a Communication Consultant at UNC School of Government. Previously, she was a Curriculum Developer at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education and a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Communication at UNC School of Government. She has also worked as a Communication Coach at LearningLeaders, a Tutor/Instructor at the Loudermilk Center for Excellence at UNC, and a Night Auditor at the Hyatt Regency.
In addition to her professional roles, Susan has academic experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at both Carnegie Mellon University and the University of South Carolina. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina. Furthermore, she gained practical experience as a Field & Finance Intern at Ellsworth for Congress--IN 8th Congressional District.
