Surhid Amatya

Surhid Amatya is a self-taught and passionate Android App developer with experience dating back to 2012. He is deeply enthusiastic about new technologies and sees software engineering as an ongoing puzzle that he loves solving. He strongly believes in the transformative power of programming to enhance people's lives globally.

Surhid's journey started with an internship where he was tasked with developing an app for a societal cause. His impressive work led to a promotion to Associate Software Engineer. Subsequently, he assumed the role of a proxy lead for an educational app project. Currently, he serves as a Senior Software Engineer, where he has honed skills in project management, requirement gathering, client interaction, and team training. He has a rich background as a technical lead and project manager.

With a diverse skill set encompassing Java, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, Swift, Git, GitLab, SQLite, and JIRA, Surhid has a robust foundation in software development. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Khwopa Engineering College and pursued intermediate studies in Science (Physics, Chemistry) at Prabhat English Higher Secondary School.

Surhid has held various key positions in renowned organizations, including roles such as Senior Software Engineer at Leapfrog Technology, Inc., Engineering Manager at Insight Workshop, Android Developer at Nepal Republic Media (P) Ltd., and many more. He has also contributed as a Guest Speaker at Developer Meet and served as an Android Instructor and Mentor at prestigious educational institutions like Halftone Designs Pvt. Ltd., KIST College, Advanced College of Engineering and Management, to name a few.
