Suresh V Shankar

Suresh V Shankar is the President of IIM Alumni Singapore, a position he has held since October 2020.2 He is an experienced entrepreneur and AI data evangelist with a diverse background in technology and business.2

Shankar is the Founder and CEO of Crayon Data, a company he established in October 2012 that aims to simplify big data.2 Prior to this, he founded RedPill Solutions Pte Ltd, which was later acquired by IBM.2

His career includes roles such as:

• Director of Analytics at IBM (2009-2012)2
• VP Marketing at ABN AMRO Bank NV (1998-2000)2
• Various positions in advertising agencies like JWT and Young & Rubicam (1989-1998)2
