Suraj Prabhu is a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in acoustics, transducer design, and digital signal processing. He earned his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and is currently pursuing his PhD in the same field at Michigan Technological University. Suraj's research interests include acoustic transducer research and development, acoustic testing, simulation of acoustic systems using COMSOL and MATLAB, and active noise control system development. He completed two successful internships, designing and testing Carbon Nanotube speaker for automotive exhaust noise cancellation. Suraj has also served as a Teaching Assistant for courses, including Acoustic and Noise Control and Dynamic Systems and Measurement Analysis, for which he was awarded an Outstanding TA Award. His specialties include acoustic software such as COMSOL, NVH softwares like AmeSIM and LMS Test.Lab, numerical software, MATLAB, CAD softwares like SolidWorks, ANSYS, meshing softwares like Hypermesh, and CFD softwares like ICEM CFD and AVL Fire.
