Sunil Cherian

Sunil Cherian is the President and CEO of Copperwire Systems, a company he co-founded in April 2019, located in Sunnyvale, California. His leadership focuses on providing solutions for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data certification and compliance, helping manufacturers enhance their market presence through transparent and reliable data-sharing networks. Copperwire's flagship product, ImpactChain, utilizes blockchain technology to ensure ESG data traceability and operational trust across supply chains.12

Cherian has a diverse background in technology and business management, having previously served as the Executive Chairman of Mentor Global and as its founding CEO from 2012 to 2019. Under his leadership, Mentor Global achieved significant revenue growth and contributed to workforce diversity initiatives in the technology sector. He has also held senior roles in software engineering and has been actively involved in the startup ecosystem, particularly in areas related to blockchain, AI, and cybersecurity.13

In addition to his role at Copperwire, Cherian is an investor and member of the Board of Directors at Meraki Acquisition One, which assists companies in listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange Venture Market.1
