He holds a Master of Business Administration in Management from Universidade Do Porto, a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University, and studied at The University of Texas at Austin's Red McCombs School of Business.

Currently, Sumit Arya serves as the Head of Data and Solution Architecture at LeasePlan, where he oversees the development and implementation of data solutions for the organization.

Prior to his role at LeasePlan, Sumit held the position of Global BI/Analytics Architect at LeasePlan, demonstrating his expertise in business intelligence and analytics.

Formerly, Sumit Arya has held various senior positions such as Global Architect at Bose Corporation, Global SAP BI/EPM Architect & Program Manager at Diageo, and Senior SAP BI/BW Management Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services.

His extensive experience also includes roles as a Management Consultant at EDP, Lisbon, Critical Software, and COTEC Portugal, indicating his strong consulting background.

Throughout his career, Sumit Arya has showcased his skills in SAP BI solutions, program management, technical architecture, and leadership, having worked for prominent organizations such as Cadbury plc., United Biscuits, and npower.
