Sue holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Fordham University School of Law and dual Bachelor's degrees, cum laude, in Economics and Biology from New York University.

Throughout her career, Sue has held key roles in several mission-driven fintech companies such as Digit, Betterment, Stash, and WiseBanyan, prior to her tenure at Ellevest.

Her professional journey includes diverse experiences ranging from serving as a Legal Extern at Financial Industry Regulatory Authority to being the Founder of Byrdfood. Sue has held positions like Senior Regulatory Counsel, General Counsel, Legal & Compliance Consultant, and Director of Legal and Compliance at various organizations.
