Beginning her journalistic journey in apartheid South Africa, she honed her skills at prominent publications like the Rand Daily Mail and Sunday Express before making her mark in London's Fleet Street at News of the World, Daily Mail, and Mail on Sunday. Her career trajectory saw her ascending to key positions at Associated Newspapers, culminating in editorial roles at the Sunday Times and Sunday Express.
