Sue Carls

Sue Carls is a prominent talent agent at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in Los Angeles. She graduated from Duke University in 2009, where she majored in art history and was also a member of the varsity volleyball team. Carls has a rich family legacy in the entertainment industry; her great-grandmother, Sue Carol, was an actress and established her own talent agency in the 1930s, earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This familial connection has inspired Carls throughout her career.1

After completing her law degree at New York Law School, where she focused on intellectual property and copyright law, Carls began her career at CAA in 2013 as an assistant in business affairs.
