Abhi Sharma

Abhi Sharma is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in neuroscience and computer science. Currently serving as the Director of Product at Avaamo, he specializes in Natural Language Processing and is deeply passionate about driving our fundamental understanding of intelligence to solve complex problems.

Abhi obtained his MS in Marketing Analytics from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. Prior to that, he completed his BS in Neuroscience, Psychology, and Music at the same university. He furthered his education by studying Professional Development in Mathematics and Computer Science at Athabasca University.

Throughout his career, Abhi has held various impactful positions. He started as a Research Assistant for Drs. Kathy and Ernie Nordeen in the Zebra Finch Laboratory at the University of Rochester. He also worked as a Research Associate in the Emergency Department, the Social Psychology Laboratory, and the Department of Surgery: Solid Organ Transplant Research at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Abhi's dedication and potential were recognized when he became a Graduate Assistant for Student Organization Development at the University of Rochester.

Abhi has also ventured into entrepreneurship, having founded and served as CEO of BlueMind, Inc., a company aimed at making a positive impact on society. He has also contributed to the startup ecosystem as a Software Engineer at Eclo and a Machine Learning Engineer at Avaamo.

Passionate about making a difference, Abhi strives to use his expertise to accelerate scientific discovery and solve some of society's toughest challenges. His extensive skill set in artificial intelligence and product management, coupled with his strong background in neuroscience and marketing analytics, positions him as a key player in the field.
