Sudarshan Nagendran

Sudarshan Nagendran is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in developing and delivering solutions, software architecture, and project management. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2016 with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

After graduation, Sudarshan joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Development Engineer where he worked on large scale distributed systems and cloud architectures. Here he honed his skills in software development, database design, and web application development.

In 2018, Sudarshan moved to Uber Technologies as a Senior Backend Engineer, building engineering systems and platforms that are utilized by thousands of internal Uber employees. In this role, he played a vital role in architecting and developing real-time data pipelines and analytics systems that improve Uber's operational efficiency.

Sudarshan is passionate about exploring new technologies and enabling software engineering through automation, testing, and code quality. He has also contributed to open source software and regularly shares his insights on software engineering on his blog.
