Su Yan is a highly skilled electro-mechanic-thermal design engineer with expertise in RF medical device research and development (R&D), Design of Experience (DOE), Design for Manufacture (DOM), and statics analyses, along with six sigma process improvement.

Her strong knowledge and skills extend to system vibration control, precision positioning, system modeling, system identification, advanced control, system simulation, control system architecture design, control software development, and control system implementation.

She holds a Master's degree in Vehicle Ergonomics Engineering from Jilin University and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
