The Bay View Inn is an award-winning hotel, bar and restaurant overlooking the Blue Flag beach of Widemouth Bay in North Cornwall. 

We serve classic seaside favourites with a uniquely Cornish twist. Signature dishes including our Homemade Fish Pie, Cornish Rack of Ribs and Gammon Steak are complimented by wraps, burgers and hot dogs like our Giant Fish Finger Wrap, Pulled Pork Burger and Smoked Maple & Chilli Hot Dog. 

We offer Pick and Mix sharers including Jalapeno Poppers, Pork Popcorn and Baby Red Peppers filled with Soft Cheese and a range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes including our Quinoa, Beetroot & Edamame Burger and Charred Artichoke, Aubergine, Courgette and Peppers Pizza. 

A great kids menu and a range of homemade desserts such as our legendary Sticky Toffee Pudding ensure every one goes home with a smile. 

Food is served every day from 12-9 pm and you can eat in or takeaway.

Our bar combines local ales like Tribute, Eureka and Doom Bar with classics like Birra Moretti and San Miguel. Premium gins (including Sharish that changes colour right before your eyes) are enhanced by a range of great value wines perfect for toasting our unforgettable sunsets. 

We offer 6 rooms to suit families looking to explore the beach, couples wanting a romantic weekend break, or solo travelers doing the tour. 

The Bay View is a laid back place with a super-friendly atmosphere. Our outdoor play area is very popular with young children and dog owners can dine in or outside in certain sections of the main restaurant and bar area.

We believe in a Greener View too. As well as the biomass boiler and solar panels that help to keep customers and hotel guests warm, we recycle all our food waste and our outdoor benches – and our ‘wood’ decking - are actually made from recycled plastic bags.

We also offer biodegradable straws and biodegradable packaging for all food or drinks consumed outside or taken away.

Business Development Manager and Copywriter

LS Consulting provided specialist business development, business strategy and marketing services with a focus on the emerging Human Capital Management space. 

The work I undertook here encompassed a heavy amount of research, particularly into new management techniques and approaches to people data being pioneered by Silicon Valley companies like Google and Facebook. 

Subjects like culture, talent management, wellbeing, and people risks were my world and the research I conducted informed new practical diagnostic tools as well as informed branding and marketing efforts.
