Stuart Orr

Stuart Orr is a highly experienced professional with 30 years of management expertise in multiple fields, most notably in the higher education, engineering, and consulting industries. He has held diverse leadership roles in numerous organizations spanning the globe, including Deakin University, Winchelsea Olives, Monash University, RA Management Consultants, and ABB.

Stuart has been active in academia for many years, having served as the Director of Doctor of Business Administration at Deakin University from 2015 to 2019 and as the Chair of University Teaching and Learning Committee, Deakin University. He was also the VP Asia-Pacific Decision Sciences Institute from 2009 to 2015 and a member of the Academic Board Deakin College from 2014 to 2017.

Stuart has been involved in several notable projects in recent times, such as completing edition 3 of the successful Australian strategy textbook "Strategic Management: Essentials Edition," finalizing the book "2040 – Future Corporation," and leading an industry sustainability study for the Australian coffee industry. He is also the lead researcher of a DFAT grant application for an international COVID-19 learning project.

Stuart is highly skilled in change management, negotiation and international partnerships, and has a wealth of experience in these fields. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (with honors), Master of Engineering/Science, and a Ph.D. from Monash University.
