Education and Achievements
Stuart's educational journey began at Simon Langton Grammar School in Canterbury, where his analytical skills began to shine. He later pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, achieving First Class Honours at the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). This solid academic foundation paved the way for a successful career in finance.
Stuart's professional journey commenced at Morgan Stanley and ANZ Merchant where he honed his skills in investment analysis and management. He then moved to F&C Investment Management, serving initially as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. It was at F&C that he took responsibility for the investment policy of the Japanese joint venture LTCB Foreign, ultimately stepping up as Managing Director, where he oversaw operational strategies and led the firm's investment initiatives.
Following his successful tenure at F&C, Stuart joined Nikko AM Europe in London, where he further solidified his reputation as a leader in asset management. Elevated to Chief Investment Officer in 1999, he played a crucial role in growing the assets under management from $1 billion to over $17 billion, demonstrating his exceptional capability in driving business growth and fostering strategic relationships. At various times, Kinnersley also served as both CIO and CEO, firmly establishing himself as a versatile leader adept at facilitating organizational development.

Stuart's expertise extends beyond management roles; he has been invited to share his insights as a speaker at major industry conferences covering topics from Emerging Markets to Asset Allocation and, more recently, Green Bonds.
