Stuart Gruskin

Stuart Gruskin is the Chief Conservation and External Affairs Officer at The Nature Conservancy in New York. He holds a J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University and a Bachelor's Degree in Rhetoric and Communications from SUNY Albany. With a diverse professional background in legal, finance, and policy across different sectors, Stuart has a keen interest in environmental, energy, and economic development policy.

In his current role at The Nature Conservancy, Stuart is responsible for overseeing conservation and policy initiatives in New York. He also serves as the executive supervisor of the national Cities Network. An advocate for innovation in the environmental sector, Stuart has been instrumental in applying innovative methods from other industries to further conservation efforts.

Stuart's expertise includes real estate financing and development, government relations, open space conservation and preservation, as well as organizational management and executive leadership.
