Stuart Ferguson is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of extensive experience in transactional and investment activities with a specific interest in social, environmental impact, and technology-led ventures.

As an investor, Stuart has spearheaded more than 50 direct debt and equity investments, ranging from startups to large corporations, in addition to managing 5 fund investments as a Limited Partner.

With a deep-rooted passion for early-stage investments, Stuart enjoys collaborating with budding entrepreneurs to help them achieve their goals. Notably, he successfully raised a £22m impact fund from private investors and established various initiatives like a circular economy Venture Capital fund, a startup accelerator, and an investment readiness advisory program.

Stuart's expertise shines through in his portfolio management roles across diverse sectors, having served on 15+ Boards and Advisory Committees. He is deeply involved in London's technology and circular economy startup ecosystem, actively participating in accelerator panels and collaborating with programs and funds to facilitate startup growth and access to funding opportunities.

Moreover, Stuart has a strong network of corporate partners aimed at enhancing portfolio company value and expediting technology commercialization efforts. His robust financial, technical, strategic, and leadership skills have been honed over years of experience, enabling him to excel in negotiating complex deals, team building, stakeholder presentation, and mentoring junior colleagues.

Stuart Ferguson's academic background includes a BA (Hons) 2:1 in History from The University of Hull. Throughout his career, he has held key roles at notable organizations like Sustainable Ventures, The London Waste & Recycling Board, Big Issue Invest, Lloyds Banking Group, Bank of Scotland, and Hull University Union.
