Stuart Feldman is a renowned computer scientist, software engineer, and academic researcher. He was born on October 18, 1949 in the United States. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University, Feldman has had an extensive career that spans over four decades. Throughout his illustrious career, he has worked for some of the most prominent technology companies in the world, including IBM, Bell Labs, and HP Labs. He is best known for creating the computer programming language called 'awk', which is widely used in data processing and analysis. He has also made significant contributions to other programming languages such as Fortran and C++. Feldman is a member of several professional bodies, including the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He has received numerous awards and accolades for his work, including the ACM Software System Award and the IEEE Computer Society Software Engineering Professional Practice Award.
